What we collect
Server and network logs. Requests to this site are logged with an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and availability of the service.
Content delivery and security. This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data — including IP address — on our behalf in order to deliver pages and filter malicious traffic.
Advertising cookies. Where third-party advertising is shown, the advertising network may set cookies and use them to measure and personalise advertising. These are only set after you consent through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time using the same banner.
Email you send us. If you write to one of the addresses on this site, we hold your message and address for as long as needed to answer it.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile to build. Comments are switched off site-wide.
Web fonts are served from this site’s own domain, not from a third-party font service. Loading fonts from an external provider would disclose your IP address to that provider on every page view; hosting them here avoids that.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies — the ones that remember your cookie choice — are set without consent because the site cannot function correctly without them. Every other category, including advertising, is set only if you agree. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to privacy@beautytoolguide.com and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Retention
Server logs are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted. Email correspondence is kept for up to 24 months.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date below changes and the change is described here rather than applied silently.
